Aquinnah (or Gay Head) Cliffs
The spectacular multi-colored Aquinnah Cliffs are a national landmark. A short trek starts from the parking area, runs along the cliffs to a gorgeous beach. Aquinnah is located at the western tip of the island.
Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary is one mile down a dirt road off the Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Rd. It offers a number of short trails through meadows and woods, along ponds, salt marshes and a barrier beach. The views of the surroundings are spectacular, and resident bird life can be observed. There is a small admission fee.
