Palma’s largest shipyard is situated on the south side of Palma harbour, a few hundred meters from the Cathedral. STP is the heart of Palma’s yacht refit industry and offers facilities for yachts of all sizes and displacement. There are 5 travel lifts, handling boats of up to 750 tons metric and 90 meters LOA. 50,000 square meters hard standing area, 6 pits for deep-keeled sailing yachts, water and electricity supply (up to 400 amps) as well as grey water sewage facilities.

The yard also offers a Wifi network, 24 hr security, two chandlers, 2000 sqm workshop area, housing a wide choice of independent contractors offering a complete range of technical services. STP also has its own fuelling dock, fitted with high output refuelling pumps.

Note that STP manages the shipyard facilities and only provides handling and a hull cleaning service, all other work and technical services are supplied by independent contractors, based either within the shipyard area or elsewhere. Owners are free to select their preferred contractors. STP also offers docking space for up to 50 yachts undergoing repairs of up to 90 meters LOA.

Also note that the Guidet building is undergoing reconstruction this year, and that all the contractors previously based here have moved to other nearby facilities. The yard will also boast a revamped cafeteria /restaurant next year.
