More about us...

Take the time to stroll around the old town that still retains its authentic character with narrow streets and laundry hanging in the windows. Stretching along the beach and Baie des Anges, from the Vieux Port to Nice airport, is the legendary 7 miles long Promenade des Anglais. A favourite of walkers, joggers, bikers and inline skaters.

Colline du Chateau: make sure to climb up the stairs or take the elevator to this promontory for fantastic views on whole Baie des Anges on one side and the old port on the other. A park covers the plateau where a medieval castle, now destroyed, used to stand.

Hills of Cimiez: Belle-Epoque villas and mansions fill this sophisticated and pleasant part of Nice, located north from the Old Port. Roman vestiges still remain in this area and Cimiez Monastery gardens overlook the town and seaside’s magnificent panorama.

Mont-Boron forestall park: On the east side of Nice is the 57 acre botanical garden of Mont-Boron, with 11 km of marked trails. The Vinaigrier Trail, on Route Forestiére du Mont Boron, runs for 2km between Col de Villefranche and the Grande Corniche, through the Parc du Viniagrier. Panoramic views on the surrounding hills and the whole bay. Access from Chemin du Viniagrier then Chemin de la Compagnie Générale des Eaux and steps to the trail.

The hills of Nice: There are footpaths linking the surrounding hills to the city centre. Go to the office of tourism for more info and to get a detailed map.

Gairaut Canal Trail: this 1.75km trail running along an old canal offers splendid views over the city and is a favourite of joggers. To access it, take the Avenue de Gairaut towards the north of Nice,  then take the old path of Gairaut, climbing right near the waterfall.

The Coastal Trail: Sporty hike on irregular terrains linking Cap de Nice to the shores of Villefranche. Start from Coco beach or the Basse Corniche via the steps at La Pointe des Sans-Culotte. About 45min round trip.
