Yo is the renowned sushi chef of the Nikki Beach, who has created Yosushimania, a catering service exclusively delivering sushis! Last season, many chefs have ordered their sushi and they couldn’t praise enough their quality and freshness. Yosushimania offer a wide selection of delicious sushi, sashimi, maki, tataki tartare and rolls. They are delivered to the yacht on a nice wooden boat model, loaded with ice, to keep them cool, which will be picked up the next day. Orders have to be placed before 1700hrs and they only deliver in the evening.
Bete a Z’Ailes (the beast with wings!) also called “BAZ” or “Jean Marc”, is - when the night comes - one of the most popular social focus points on the harbour. They have great international live bands playing several times a week, which even gets people dancing … on the tables! Other highlights of BAZ are their fabulous sushis, not to mention their great Espresso Martinis! The are also vegan friendly and the chef offers several veggie sushi, edaname, seaweed salad...
Le Repaire is a local institution, situated on Gustavia’s waterfront (under the Shipchandler). It comes regularly recommended as a fun place to enjoy a cocktail or have a nice meal. St Barth famous home made “glacier” has now 2 outlets in the harbour. A very colourful (impossible to miss it!) one across the Quai d’Honneur, next to the Sunset Hotel, and the other one, on Rue Jeanne d'Arc towards la Pointe. Owner Yann Colin makes the most delicious selection of homemade sorbets and ice creams (with more than 26 different flavours!). With no artificial flavouring, and no additives... they really don't come much better than this! Indeed, Le Petit Deauville ice creams are so popular, that they supply all the best restaurants and can be found in local supermarkets.
This open air garden restaurant - presenting Creole-Asian-French cuisine and specializing in fish - is a long time favourite. Rare Tuna, green papaya salad, and rum punches are great examples of typical menu offerings. Eddy is the charming and charismatic owner, whose Asian cuisine and decoration reflects his extensive yearly travels. They open Mon-Sat, and - by appointment – on Sundays, for private dining. This restaurant is vibrantly decorated, and its most spectacular setting, rates as one of those places you just have to go... no excuses! Set in a sumptuous garden, lit up by torches at night, this sophisticated open air restaurant serves the most creative (and light!) French fusion cuisine. However, despite the calibre of the menu and cooking, le Tamarin has a much more casual and romantic atmosphere than its culinary peers. So make sure that Le Tamarin is already on your list of ‘musts’ when you're in St.Barth! Located on the road to Saline’s beach.
Located in La plage de Public, the bay just north of Gustavia's main harbour, Mayas has a lovely setting at the water’s edge and continues to be a favourite of many yachts. Mayas is a local institution and one of the first restaurants on the island. The atmosphere is chic, elegant, and comfortable and one can enjoy a delightful sunset cocktail, excellent food and great sunset views (with ‘Sunset drinks’ from 1600hrs). The menu includes fresh fish, grilled meats, Créole dishes, and exotic daily specials and traditional West Indian orange cake or coconut pie.

Eden Rock evolved from an imaginatively sited house built more than fifty years ago by local adventurer Remy De Haenen, to become a few years later the first hotel on the island. Part of the prestigious ‘Relais et Chateaux’ group, this delightful resort is set on a rock, right above the water in the Baie de Saint-Jean on the edge of a perfect long white sandy beach. It also has two fine restaurants (one on the beach, and one on top of 'the rock' with a view)... that also came highly recommended (reservations requested).
For those looking to spend an unforgettable night and capture the funky, sexy spirit of the island, a dinner at Le Ti St Barth is “absolument incontournable” (an absolute must)! Located on the hilltop Pointe Milou, this wildly popular ‘hot spot’ has a unique character, with its baroque decoration, belly dancers and torch-light terrace. Although Le Ti St Barth seems to specialize in fun, the food is also delicious. Eclectic menu. Friendly and over the top owner Carole Gruson, can often be spotted going from one table to another and joking with some of her movie star clients.
Wonderful juice bar and take out eatery offering a unique selection of raw dishes, desserts and superfoods. Run by a lovely and passionate young couple. Limited seating inside available. They have daily cold pressed juices, lunch boxes and changing menu (only one item contains animal products, such a fish or chicken, everything else is vegan). Very pleasant decor. Everything is delicious and very fresh. Raw desserts are awesome! They also offer s wide selection of package superfoods. Located down a flight of stairs. Parking in front of the building.
Restaurant and vibrant night bar in Gustavia, the first of its kind to offer sophisticated clearly marked vegan items and tapas for lunch and dinner, including tantalizing desserts. Plus they have daily vegan specials by raw chef Kristine of Plant Based Daily. On Wednesday nights they have a raw vegan and gluten free food tasting created by the raw chef from Plant Based Daily. Open Monday through Friday from 11:30am-2pm. No lunch on weekends but open for dinner at 6pm. The bar stays open late and they serve food late daily.
